There is only one bait shop in Red Dead Redemption 2. Players will also have to visit the Bait Shop (Lemoyne region, north of Saint Denis) to pick up three lures: the special swamp lure, the special river lure, and the special lake lure, which cost $20 each. Gill will give players a map for finding legendary fish and players must send Gill the legendaries via the post office in order to confirm them. Once fishing has been unlocked, players can head to the northeastern bank of Flat Iron Lake to meet with an NPC called Jeremy Gill who gives players the quest "A Fisher of Fish." To begin capturing the legendary fish, players will need to unlock fishing gameplay by completing the appropriate story mission quest. But the game also features 14 different legendary fish which are just as tricky to locate - unless you know where to look. The locations of legendary land animals have already been detailed, showing players where to find the legendary alligator, legendary beaver, legendary cougar, and more. However, actually tracking down these legendary animals can be a bit difficult. Legendary animals can be captured, sold, and traded to certain NPCs, or the parts harvested from them can be turned into special items. I'm wondering if there is some other thing that is bugged/not obvious that I'm missing? I did manage to catch one large fish but it was a lake sturgeon.not the legendary fish unfortunately.Red Dead Redemption 2 features special types of creatures called legendary animals. However, clicking left mouse seems to bring the rod tip up allowing you to reel in 's just not enough. It just shows the mouse moving "up" or something but that doesn't do anything. Nothing works.Īlso, worth noting that the in game icon it flashes to reel in the fish is wrong. I hit space and R repeatedly when the fish isn't fighting. I just can't reel in fast enough to outpace the fish. If you only reel in when the fish isn't fighting you lose ground, run out of line and the line breaks. If you keep reeling in when the fish is fighting the line breaks. I assume there is some trick I'm not doing properly because no matter what I do the line breaks. I assume iI keep hooking him but I can't reel it in. I'm in the right spot and using the special lure.
